Richard (Dick) Gochnauer,

Dick is Managing Director and Board Member at SC Master Fund and Co-Founder of the CEO Leadership Alliance. He currently serves on the board of directors for AmerisourceBergen Corp., Golden State Foods, Vodori, Center for Higher Ambition Leadership, Rush University and Medical Center, Rising Tide Transitional Housing, CLA-OC, and the SC Master Fund. Previously, he served on the board of directors for UGI Corp, Opportunity International, Chicago Civic Committee, City of Hope OP, the Wooden Floor, Orangewood Children’s Foundation, and various metro YMCA’s.
Dick retired in May of 2011 as Chief Executive Officer of Essendant, the leading wholesale distributor of office and business products in the US. Prior to Essendant, he served in various corporate positions such as President and Chief Operating Officer of Golden State Foods, Executive Vice President of the Dial Corporation responsible for their Household Consumer Products businesses, President of the Stella Cheese Company, a division of Universal Foods, and as President of the international division of Schreiber Foods, Inc.
Dick earned his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.
Dick and his wife, Beth, have two adult children and six grandchildren. The Gochnauer’s reside in Corona del Mar, California.
