At Western Digital, Dan leads the worldwide Corporate Strategy and Development function, as well as Western Digital’s strategic investment arm, Western Digital Capital. Dan is responsible for inorganic growth initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and other strategic
transactions, post-M&A integration, corporate strategic planning, and corporate business development activities. Through Western Digital Capital, Dan invests in and partners with innovative startup companies, and manages the investment portfolio.
With Western Digital since 2004, Dan has prior experience as a corporate attorney, both in house and as outside legal counsel for technology companies at varying stages, advising them from inception through exit.
Dan has a proven track record of being both strategy and execution focused, providing leadership in a broad range of matters, building and leading high-functioning worldwide teams, and effectively structuring, negotiating, executing and leading complex strategic initiatives.
Dan lives in San Clemente, California with his wife Aarin, and their three children Aidan, Cooper and Addison.
